BALLONA CREEK CLEANUP PROJECT

The Culver City High School Boys' Soccer team and Ballona Creek Renaissance recently teamed up to clean up the creek and its watershed for a healthier, more sustainable environment and community.

The CCHS soccer team committed to helping the non-profit organization in appreciation for the donation 99¢ Only Stores made to support the soccer teams. The boys managed to pick up 999 items!

Helping Ballona Creek was "an honor" said coach Dave Sanchez. "[It was] a privilege to be partnered with 99¢ Only Stores, they generously supported our High School soccer program. The knowledge learned about our environment and being part of something larger are life lessons beyond the pitch".

There are other activities that 99¢ Only Stores supports such as Heal The Bay's monthly Beach Cleanup.
